Payment Cloud Technologies named finalists for Consumer Finance Product of the Year at 2017 FS Tech Awards

London, 9 December 2016 – Payment Cloud Technologies (PCT), the leading digital banking and payment solution providers, are delighted to announce a fourth awards shortlisting in seven months, for Consumer Finance Product of the Year at the 2017 FS Tech Awards.
The shortlisting builds on PCT’s previous nominations for Best Consumer Banking Initiative and Best New Customer Facing Innovation at October’s Emerging Payments Awards, and Best CSR Programme at the upcoming Card and Payment Awards.
The judges have again recognised PCT’s work with strategic partner Change Account, to allow consumers to build a stronger, fairer, and more secure financial future. The Change Account is a genuinely inclusive transactional alternative, providing cutting edge financial services to those who have traditionally been turned away by major banks.
Ian Clowes, CEO, Payment Cloud Technologies, said: ‘’Technology is changing and improving almost every aspect of our lives, and FinTech is no different. That being said, the fact that 2 million adults in the UK do not hold a bank account, and 9 million are not accessing credit is a lesson that there is still much work to be done. In tandem with Change Account and our recent launch of a new digital banking platform, PCT are striving to drive positive social change and build a secure financial future that works for everyone.’’
Now into their 17th year, the prestigious FStech Awards recognise excellence and innovation within the UK and EMEA financial services sector. The awards, judged by a highly-respected panel of judges, will bring together the leading names in financial services at a gala dinner and ceremony, on Thursday 23 March 2017 at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
