
Ian Clowes - CEO
Ian Clowes is the Co-Founder and CEO of Payment Cloud Technologies (PCT). As former Director of Abbey National Bank (now Santander) and Unisys, Ian has over 20 years’ leadership experience in the payments industry, including previous board-level appointments at BACS and APACS, amongst others.
Ian is currently a Non-Executive Director of charity banking company Change Account Ltd and airline payments experts Travel Welfare Ltd. He is also an Advisory Board Member of the Emerging Payments Association, the UK’s leading trade body advancing payments innovation.
Ian holds an MBA from the University of Warwick.

Mike Peplow - Deputy CEO & Chief Commercial Officer
Mike Peplow is Deputy CEO & Chief Commercial Officer at Payment Cloud Technologies. Prior to joining PCT in 2014, Mike was President of BancTec EMEA, a €100+M business focused on technology-based banking and outsourcing services.
Mike brings an in-depth knowledge from 20 years’ experience in developing international business with strong strategic marketing and business growth. He has a strong track record of transitioning businesses into new markets and evolving delivery models.
Mike has successfully led multiple strategic acquisitions during his time at Privot Giro (Sweden), ManTech (UK) and Beta Systems (Germany) to accelerate growth, secure market share and broaden product portfolios. Mike also has a broad range of business management experience including financial control, sales and marketing, operational delivery and HR.
Mike holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, a BSc (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering and is a chartered engineer with the BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT.

Gary Thorneycroft - Chief Financial Officer
Gary Thorneycroft is CFO at Payment Cloud Technologies. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987, Gary spent 21 years in practice and has extensive expertise in all aspects of audit, accounting, taxation and management consultancy specialising in the SME sector.
Gary has also served as a quasi FD to a number of start-up businesses and more mature companies across number of industry sectors. During his career, he led the Corporate Finance department of a medium sized accounting practice and successfully took a company to the OFEX market, raising over £1m.
Through his contact with the South-East Growth Fund, Gary joined PCT in 2008 as one of the first directors and shareholders. His responsibilities cover all aspects of accounting, audit and taxation for all PCT group companies. Gary is also a non-executive director of Change Account Ltd and quasi Finance Director of Travel Welfare Ltd.

Keith Richbell - Chief Operating Officer
Keith Richbell is Chief Operating Officer at Payment Cloud Technologies and has responsibility for Information Technology, Operations, Programme Delivery, Customer Services and Fraud Management.
Keith has a 35-year history in payments and financial services spanning strategy, product development and operations. Prior to joining PCT, Keith held senior positions at Abbey National, Travelex, First Data, VocaLink, the Australian credit union industry (CUSCAL) and the Australian national debit card system (eftpos).

Clinton Browne - Chief Technology Officer
Clinton Browne is CTO at Payment Cloud Technologies. Clinton has an extensive background in enterprise systems, architectural design, cloud computing and web & mobile development, and he is passionate about technology, innovation, delivering high quality services & products, and building successful solutions.
Clinton has over 20 years of IT experience working in enterprise organisations focusing on software development, more than half of which has seen him lead successful technical teams. This includes heading up the Global and Mobile Development Team for Electronic Arts, the worlds’ largest global gaming company.
As an effective leader, capable of cultivating a high-performance culture across global players, he is able to communicate effectively both to external customers and at all levels across the organization.
Clinton obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University with emphasis in Technology Management and Information Technology in 2016, and has been pursuing academic studies for over 12 years. Clinton’s professional qualifications include: MBA (Technology Management), BTech (Hons), BSc (BIT), ITIL® (Expert), MSCD & MCP.

Rob Liddell - Programme and Delivery Director
Rob Liddell is Programme and Delivery Director at Payment Cloud Technologies. Before joining PCT in 2014, Rob worked as a senior consultant in computer aided design for offshore oil platforms, before becoming Technical Director of a highly successful Digital Document Management startup, where he oversaw delivery of systems to major companies including London Underground and Vickers Shipbuilding.
Rob has 20 years’ experience in the Fintech industry, developed during his time as a Project Director and working in Research & Development for Banctec. Since joining PCT in 2014, Rob has been responsible for the development of the bank.VISION product suite and in particular, its deployment to PCT’s first bank.VISION customer, An Post.
Rob holds a first-class honours degree from Imperial College London and is a Chartered Engineer.
